The only reason why I didn't give this product five stars was that when it was shipped from Amazon, it didn't have the cradle required to fit my 2002 Corvette. I had to call Fram directly and they wound shipping me not only the cradle but a new filter plus the cleaner as well! Kudos to Fram for including everything. I would caution anyone buying this product from Amazon to check to make sure that the cradle is included as well. Once I was able to install it in the car, everything worked perfectly.

It's a drop-in K&N..... it does what it's suppose to do. Fit is good, and Amazon's price was the best I was able to find, plus no sales tax and free shipping!!!!! Don't expect 20 horsepower, but if you're looking for a new air filter, this is the way to go. (a new filter from Toyota is the same price as this one!!!!)

Nothing wrong with the filter it just doesn't fit my 2002 Mazda MPV and I mean it's not even close. I looked on air hog website and they don't even have it listed as an option, the only air filter they list is a FRAM CA8922 which is a paper filter... I'm not sure why Amazon still has this listed as a filter for this vehicle!

The main advantage of the K&N 33-2304 Replacement Air Filter is its long life. I haven't noticed much, if any, improvement in gas mileage or power since installing this filter in my 2005 Subaru Outback XT (2.5L Turbo). The filter fits well and does its job, but doesn't add anything extra. The only way to justify the high cost is if you know you'll keep the filter long enough to take advantage of its long life.

When my dealer's service department told me I'd have to pay $125 to replace something called a "cabin air filter," I started looking around for the hidden cameras and Ashton Kutcher. Uh, $125? To replace an air filter? Seriously?
What I did instead--and what you can do too--is buy this filter on Amazon and then hop over to a famous video Web site that rhymes with BlueLube to find a video showing you the step-by-step instructions to follow for replacing your cabin air filter. Is it difficult? Do you find making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich difficult? If so, then yes, this will be difficult for you. If not, this will be very easy for you to do. You essentially remove your glove box very carefully, remove the old cabin filter, replace it with the new one, and then put your glove box back in place. In the process you will save yourself in the neighborhood of $110.
I was not at all pleased with my Mazda dealer when I realized how much of a rip-off they perpetuate. $125 for a five-minute job with a $15 part? Uh, no thanks.

Believe it or not, the Mazda dealer wanted 125 smackers to replace the cabin air filter. When I asked, how can a filter cost that much, they said it was hard to get to, under the dash. Following the simple instructions that came with the filter, I replaced it in about 3 minutes. I have a 2004 Mazda6 wagon, and it looked extactly like the factory filter it replaced. I'll replace it every year now, because the old one was really dirty, including leaves!
